Privacy Policy

This policy explains which personal data Instafrenchie processes, why, how long it is kept and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

2. Data we process

  • Website visit: browsing data, IP address, information about your browser and device, cookies, audience measurement (Google Analytics).
  • Client account: identity, email address, phone number.
  • Payment: payment data is processed by our payment provider. Instafrenchie does not keep your card number.
  • Instagram access: login details and access codes you provide so that we can connect your Instagram account.
  • Instagram account data: profile, followers, statistics and interactions of your account, as well as public data of the accounts targeted by your settings (collected from public Instagram profiles).
  • Support: your exchanges with our team (chat, emails).

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Performance of the contract: providing the service, invoicing, providing support.
  • Legal obligations: keeping accounts and retaining accounting records.
  • Legitimate interest: improving the service, preventing fraud and ensuring the security of the site and accounts.
  • Consent: non-essential cookies (including audience measurement) and marketing where the law requires it. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Public data of targeted accounts is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest and that of our clients in growing their audience. The people concerned can exercise their rights by writing to us (see section 8).

4. Retention periods

  • Account data: for the duration of the subscription, then 3 years for the commercial relationship.
  • Instagram login details and access codes: deleted at the end of the subscription.
  • Accounting records: 10 years.
  • Cookies: 13 months maximum.

5. Recipients

Your data is accessible only to authorised persons within Instafrenchie and, as needed, to the following categories of providers:

  • hosting of the site and applications (for example Vercel);
  • online payment (for example Stripe);
  • audience measurement (Google Analytics);
  • technical tools necessary for the operation of the service.

These providers act only on our instructions or for their own legal obligations. We do not sell your data.

6. Transfers outside the European Union

Some providers may process data outside the European Union, for example the host in the United States. These transfers are covered by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR: an adequacy decision (including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses.

7. Partner agencies

When Instafrenchie provides its solution to partner agencies, it acts as a processor for the data of those agencies' clients. These agencies remain data controllers with regard to their own clients.

8. Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data, the right to withdraw your consent at any time, and the right to set directives on what happens to your data after your death.

To exercise these rights, write to contact@instafrenchie.fr. We may ask for proof of identity in case of doubt. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France.

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.

10. Cookies

The site uses cookies to operate and to measure its audience. Non-essential cookies are placed only with your consent, collected through the consent banner displayed on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time. Their lifetime does not exceed 13 months.

11. Updates

We may change this policy to reflect legal or service changes. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
